My homebirth experience was wonderful! This was my fifth pregnancy and I had had four hospital births previously. I had a friend that had a homebirth last year and I was curious. My husband and I never dreamed of having a child at home, but after talking with Toni we felt like it was something we wanted to try. The entire experience, from the prenatal visits to the labor and deliver, was so personal and special. I greatly enjoyed the freedom to choose my position and activity level during labor. This freedom gave me more options for relaxation and pain management than I had had in the hospital. I will now recommend homebirths to anyone!
